The total window restoration process includes removing the sashes, then stripping the sashes and the frames to bare wood. Once the paint is gone, the glass is carefully removed and any wood repairs are performed. After all repairs are complete, the glass is placed back into the sash and reglazed. Any frame repairs are also performed while the sashes are out. Finally, we finish the sashes and frames with paint to protect them, and reassemble the windows. With proper maintenance your windows should last for many years to come!
